Hi, My name is Alison Flanigan, a passionate photographer based in Cumbernauld. My journey with photography started as a quiet nudge from my dad, who always had a keen eye for capturing the world through a lens. Though I dabbled in it over the years, it wasn’t until I got my dogs, Rolo and Freya, that my love for photography truly flourished.

Knowing how fleeting our time with our beloved pets can be, I wanted to preserve every adventure, every joyful moment, and every bond we shared. Capturing their playful spirits in nature filled my heart and gave me purpose, inspiring me to refine my skills by studying photography at college. There, I developed my own style and deepened my passion for storytelling through imagery. I received HNC student photographer of the year for 2024/2025 for my hard work and commitment to photography.

Now, I want to offer that same gift to others, beautiful, meaningful images of their dogs, their adventures, and their unique connection to nature. My love for hiking, the outdoors, and adventure blends seamlessly with my work, allowing me to create authentic, emotive portraits.

Beyond dogs and nature, I also love capturing the warmth of human connections - whether it's families, couples, or individuals in the great outdoors, crafting timeless images to cherish forever.
